FIFO Site Administrator
We are currently seeking a Site Administrator for a Mining Infrastructure Project in South Australia. This is a fixed term FIFO role working a 2 and 1 roster.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be providing project support to the onsite team.
Key Responsibilities/Duties will include:
Data Entry - Timesheets, training data
Organise travel and accommodation for employees
Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports
Goods Receipting
Filing and archiving
Other administration and site duties as directed by the Project Manager
Successful candidates will possess the following:
White Card - General Construction Induction Card (Essential)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Previous Admin experience
Highly computer literate
The ability to prioritise your workload in a fast-paced, changing environment
A high attention to detail
The ability to work towards deadlines
Maintain good relationships with other personnel
Be pro-active and able to work autonomously

Diesel & Light Vehicle Mechanics & Auto Electricians
Due to increased growth, AWCON Pty Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified Mechanics and Auto Electricians to join our team. Multiple roles available for Full Time Workshop or Full Time Interstate FIFO or even combine the best of both worlds as a Workshop and relief FIFO worker!!
Answering to the Site Supervisors and Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for, and possess the following abilities to assist in maintaining AWCON’s 160+ Vehicles and Plant.
Minimum 3 years post trade experience
Adhere to company WHS policies, procedures and complete all required documentation
High level attention to detail whilst maintaining stringent safety standards required by our Clients
Highly motivated and ability to take direction and work unsupervised in a timely manner
Strong diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
Experience with a mixed late model modern fleet consisting of Ford, Mazda & Toyota Vehicles, Hyundai, Volvo & CAT Construction Equipment, Isuzu, Hino, Mercedes and Volvo Trucks
To be successful you will possess the following:
Relevant Trade Qualification
Experience in mining industries
Current Driver licence - Heavy Vehicle licence up to HR/HC is desirable
Construction white card – or ability to obtain

Candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive medical and National Police Check.
Duties

Project Manager

We’re seeking Expression of Interest for a highly-skilled Project Manager to contribute to AWCON’s growth and help us maintain our position as an leading Civil Construction Company. The ideal candidate will have production experience as well as strong work plan development and progress oversight skills. They will be expected to prepare and present progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis, ensuring the project delivery we seek is being achieved.
Objectives of this Role
Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation
Lead projects from requirements for tendering through to deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
Structure and manage integrated, multi-track project performance databases for multiple digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects, with an eye on overall progress
Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years project management experience
Cert IV in Front Line / Project Manager
Proven success working with all levels of management
Proven success working with Clients and Client relations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to schedules and budgetary guidelines

Due to continued growth and expansion, and extensive pipeline of projects AWCON are actively recruiting for competent and experienced Concreters.
To be successful you will require the following:
Current drivers license
Current white card
Experience in the civil construction industry and must know how to screed, finish concrete
Be able to pass a full pre-employment medical requirements; including Drug & Alcohol Screens
Consent to Police Check
Resident to Central West area would be an advantage, but not required.
The role would suit someone who is motivated, works well in a team and takes pride in their work.
Steel Fixers
Due to a steady annual increase in work they are expanding their team and looking for the best people in the industry to work on major projects in Sydney ranging from $500K to $5million
Successful candidates will be working on large civil construction projects, within a team of concreters, steel fixers and general labourers. Contracts will run from 6 months – 12 months, previous civil experience is a must and any tickets on plant machinery a bonus.
Trade qualifications and at least 3 years’ steel fixing experience
Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools
Formwork and concreting experience needed
Ability to read plans and drawings
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and alone
Hardworking , reliable and punctual
Construction White Card, own tools, vehicle and PPE
